Question about multiple logins.

Hi,

I've got a question about being logged in with multiple characters. The terms of use says it is allowed to be logged into multiple accounts if you do nothing special.

Now my question is about being logged in with 3+ characters for Addon testing/development. The characters will be level 1. Testing involves inviting them into a party/raid and seeing whether or not everything works.

Now my question is this whether or not this is a valid use of multiple characters. Also is there an automatic check in place for a single IP with that many log ins?

Strictly speaking it is not allowed. But I do follow your intentions, and I can't see any harm will be done there unless you enter an instance (RFC for example).

But why not test the addon on another Vanilla server which allows multiboxing? The API and thus the test results should be equal.

Using another private server seems like a good option hadn't thought of that.

I feel like there is no harm as well, but can understand them not taking any risks and having an automatic ban system in place.
