Hundreds of mana surges stack on top of each other

Dustwallow Marsh: There is a quest for mages which requires you to kill 12 Mana Surges that Tabetha spawns once you accept the quest. It seems as someone has accepted and abandoned the quest multiple times (around 50) so there are currently hundreds of mana surges on top of each other and are impossible to clear.
