Smoked Desert Dumplings recipe

I just wanted to ask if anybody knew what is the reason for the Smoked Desert Dumplings cooking recipe to be removed (along with all the Sandworm meat, if anybody had some stacked up)?

Was added in 1.8, which was the dragons of nightmare patch. I had the recipe a few months ago, was able to farm sandworm meat and make the stuff. Then they removed the recipe from my cooking book, no more meat drops, and the buff doesn't work. Glad they fixed it, shouldn't have been in the game anyway.

I want to revive this necro thread. What is the situation here? I was able to get this quest and complete it and get the recipe yesterday. However, It seems the worms are not dropping any meat. When I was grinding in Silithus months ago, I had a fair amount of meat. Now-none.

What is supposed to be the case here? Will the worms begin dropping meat again and when?

Also, are there similar Int and/or Spirit food buffs?

You're not even supposed to have the recipe until 1.8 -- http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Smoked_Desert_Dumplings in which the meat was added in 1.8 as well... http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Sandworm_Meat

Edit: According to the timeline https://en.nostalrius.org/assets/upload/timeline.jpg it should be out around December.
