General chat issues

I'm sorry if I'm reposting this. I tried to post once before, but I lost it.

Anyways, I am having problems with general chat. When I type in /1 I cannot get the general chat tab. It just types /1 and nothing happens. I can read general chat by others, but cannot write anything myself. Can anyone please help me out?

I have the same issue... Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Even reload or relog doesn't help.

For me, when things get goofy in chat, if I leave all channels first and then re-enter them one at a time in the order I want them, it works fine. So.../leave every channel first. If you enter /join world first, it will be in slot 1 now.

also try typing /leave Channelname and not just the number and, in extreme cases, go to your WTF folder, find the chat cache file and delete it.
