Hi Robtp - generally speaking the admins and GMs cannot help with hacked accounts. Account security is completely the user's responsibility. The symptoms you outline in your first post look like the person changed your password; this would cause the unable to connect message.
I assume you are trying to reset your password using the main Nostalrius page, Login page (forgot password). Are you not receiving the E-mail? If not, look in your junk folder for it, sometimes stuff can get filed there.
