Issues connecting to pvp realm

NA had some issues connecting to the realms earlier today and we were told to use an EU vpn to bypass the problem for the time being. I used a vpn during this time and after a few hours everyone said they could connect without it. I disconnected from the VPN and reconnected to wow and had no problems. About an hour or 2 later i was disconnected from the realm and this is where my problems really start.
I can no longer connect to the PVP realm, while the PVE realm remains perfectly fine. I have also noticed that I can't connect to battle.net either now. I am not sure if the two are related in anyway at the moment.
I tried using the commands "netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt" and once my system restarted it seemed to have resolved the problem, only for it to start back up again not 10 minutes later.
My current realmlist.wtf is

try changing the realmlist.wtf to

if it doesn't help try flushing your DNS

Did both, but i'm still getting stuck on "connected". A vpn is the only way i can connect atm.

Earlier i actually got to the character screen but when i tried to log in the loading screen seemed to freeze and i got disconnected.

not sure if the pve server is hosted at a different place but if so you should wait for this to be resolved:

Would it be possible for that to affect different isp's? My friends in the same area but all using different isp's are not having any problems. I am using ATT and am the only one having problems.

I doubt it as it's an OVH internal issue with their datacenter in Montreal.

Do you have a different computer where you can download a new client to, that might tell you what the issue is about

The issue is the exact same on my other pc.
