Today I got a sudden disconnect from the server, so my first thought was either I lost an internet connection or server is down. But:
- my connection was OK
- after an hour I checked on Nostalrius website, and PvE realm has been online almost 2 days already.
Since I still got "Disconnected from server" message when I was trying to log in, I started investigating further. I could not log in also from another computer at home (at the same local network). So I made a hot-spot of my mobile phone, just to check if it is an IP issue.
And it was, everything works fine on another internet connection.
To make sure that I've done everything I could before posting here, I've deleted WDB and WTF contents, took down some firewall rules from my router (anyway, everything was working fine with them earlier) and restarted my router.
Could somehow my IP be banned?... As far as I know, I am the only person playing wow on that IP. Also, I have a public IP address. Do you have any idea what could be an issue?
