hi,
i just finished installing my WoW and i did everything on the beginners guide.
i even tried making new accounts but it says always that my accounts are closed/banned and i can't use them.
This isn't normal.
Please help

/sad face...

Edit: Whenever it doesn't say its banned, it says "unable to connect" so can someone please confirm that there is some maintenance going on? or is the problem on my end?

If a player enters an incorrect account name, they'll be presented with the following error message:
  • The information you have entered is not valid. Please check the spelling of the account name and password. If you need help in retrieving a lost or stolen password and account, see http://www.worldofwarcraft.com for more information.

If a player enters a incorrect password, they'll be presented with the following error message:
  • Unable to connect

If a player make an excessive amount of attempts with incorrect credentials, they'll be presented with the following error message:

There's a security measure that temporarily IP ban users who consistently attempts to login with incorrect credentials. The duration varies depending on how many attempts occurred and increases on further failures. Users may reset their password here.
