Regarding Broodlord Mortal Strike mechanic

We had a funny broodlord kill yesterday.
He killed two tanks by doing a Mortal strike at the exact same time as a normal melee attack, for a total of 10.000 (8500 +1500) dmg, oneshotting a warrior tank from full health to zero.

Then he did a 7K ms + 1000 melee hit on a druid tank, that wasn't completely topped off (had 7800 hp out of 8900) at the time the double attack hit).

We still killed him because it basically happened within the last 2% of the Boss's health. But the thing about this event is the double-attack at the exact same moment with zero time to heal in between the two hits. I don't remember whether this is working as intended, or just a "feature" of nostalrius

Does anyone know if this, two-attacks-simultaneously, is actually "original blizzlike(tm)" ?

Even if it's RNG to get this burst, it's not "Blizzlike" as it was on retail.
Get some DMT buffs to avoid this possibility (10k5 ez pz life)
I know indeed some specific boss like Bloodlord / PW and Shazrah have this common bug with auto attack + special attack at the same time on private servers.
I only have french ressources about it :s can't really help more.
