Log In Servers Down?

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere but are the log in servers down at the moment?
Have friends in game but I am getting DC's at log in screen.

Seems as though the pvp server is down.

the server is now down so we can apply the 1.7 patch data. The downtime should last for about 30 minutes. We will announce when the server is back up.
