Recieved a warning on my account

I just recieved notice that a warning has been placed on my account.

This is what happend: I was handing in E'kos in Everlook when a hunter sitting on the roof started shooting at me and others killing many. I went in and out eating for about 5minutes until I finally finished handing in all my items. That's when I see him going up on the roof again and I decide to follow him to kill him. I kill him and I get off the roof. The whole process was about 20 seconds long. About a minute later GM Naealath whispers me telling me he has put a warning on my account for safespotting in Everlook.

So a warning was just placed on my account for killing a griefer that was safespotting on the building to the left of the E'ko NPC.

I think this should be recosidered as I feel I did nothing wrong here. I was not the one sitting on the roof for ages griefing many players. So why am I recieving a warning on my account just as the griefing scumbag is?

The safespotting griefer hunter was reported by many players. The GM arrived and saw me killing him on the roof. He put a warning on my acc. Apparently I am just as bad.

I did go there and I killed the hunter that was griefing everyone then I left the roof. Do you think I should be punished the same way he was?

No logical person will agree with me getting a warning on my acc, sry.
