The Balance of Light and Shadow

Dear Nostalrius Team,

Firstly, may I just say how much I enjoy playing on such a fantastic server - keep up the good work!

I am hoping you maybe able to help me, after 2 weeks of trying and many consumable's, I finally managed to complete The Balance of Light and Shadow quest - I handed in the quest, transformed the splinter, had a good look at my new staff and ported back to Ironforge in search of a friendly enchanter.

The server then crashed,,,,,

We rolled back.....

When I logged back in, I was back in EPL, no staff... and back on the quest. I am now struggling to get this completed and really cannot afford anymore consumables.

I am sure that you will be able to see that I completed the quest and had the staff in my inventory, may I please politely request that you restore?

Unfortunately you have to do the quest again since we do not restore quest progression lost due to a server crash.

Whilst I appreciate the game is free to play - may I please suggest you review your policies as something like this is in no way the players fault and there should be a process in place to rectify the situation - even more so considering that this is not your average quest.
