Account locked / Character deleted

I logged on today to find I was banned, I had to reset my password and was able to logged in. After logging in I found my characted deleted.

Was I hacked or was this a server issue of some sort?

This has been happening more and more. This has happened to 3 people in my guild and the GMs have responded with something along the lines of "your character doesn't exist in the database." Either there is some common issue like a website or piece of software that people are using that is stealing passwords, or there is a database bug or hack that has occurred. This many people.. it starting to look less that mere coincidence. I really hope that a thorough investigation is done by someone on the GM team that has solid database knowledge and knows how to look through server logs.

Also didn't I mention my character was deleted. Not to mention RealmPlayers only shows higher level, I was a lowbie.

What was your character level ? The link I provided is a player data base, that mean even if your character was deleted he would still exist in this database, if you were inspected at least once.

Your account is not locked. The character Foofy does not exist; the only character on the account listed is your Paladin. Please keep in mind that we do not restore deleted characters; account security is the sole responsibility of the player.
