Retrieving character list...

For the past hour I have been unable to load my characters on the PvP server. I login just fine, I select the PvP server, and I see "Retrieving character list" permanently, and have waited to the lengths of over 30 minutes in hopes of it actually retrieving my characters. Sadly, this did not happen. I have tried restarting client, game, computer, deleting WTF, Caches, etc. And have had no luck.

this can happen during database backup. It shouldn't last 30 minutes however. Deleting WTF/WDB is not necessary in this case. Closing your client completely before trying again might help. The problem really should go away on its own after some time.
