Had a GM whisper me while doing this. This is the conversation we had, as well as what happened ten minutes after.

The log does nothing. The entire area is out-ranging the guards, which is 100% legal. The correct way to deal with this is to get your friends, walk into their face and kill them. It's a PvP server. This kinda of stuff is to be expected.

Since the guards aren't even supposed to be there until Naxx, I don't see how it can ever be bannable to be safespotting there at all, regardless of how you do it.
