What is going on?

by Boomblastèr » Sun Jan 24, 2016 3:44 pm

Okey, first of all. I had a problem for 2 days that I got contacted by the GM by being ported over to GM Island
for Q & A.... I'm continuing to put up the old topic Account/banned? with the Boomblaster case.

After being interrogated by you: "
I will shed some light on the situation, your accounts was investigated for multiboxing but later on you admitted to playing your friends account while he was away, therefore your accounts was closed.
We do treat all cases equally."

I'm just going to ad that it was a poor choice of words at the time being on the GM Island, first of it's a first that i've been there and have another person vouching for my time being online and playing with my friend. It's more or less like you're being pushed into a corner and don't what to say really, and we didnt take it seriously enough at the time being when we we're there.

But there hasn't been given any warnings of some sort, so to me it's all odd that this is happening and I feel like I give enough to the community to actually "make" it a better place..
And when I make a easy mistake I get punished with perma ban and no warning. If it was to report to you daily/weekly that I dont cheat, I would do that really...

viewtopic.php?f=65&t=32727

Any how, by the time being and thinking over about what to do with this or to play again, because it's a big amount of time lost here, I finally found out today that i'm going to try again.
I made a new account with a main character and an alt character for bank stuff in the future, in and out of WoW making some addons etc I tried to lvl a bit on the shaman (DrBoom) and then relogged and walked the alt bank to orgrimmar, checking on AH for 10 seconds and BAM - Auto Ban again.

You can't be serious? How does one want to play here if you just do it for fun? or whatever you guys are doing...
I think it's something wrong here...

I would hope there is some sort of investigation on-going, if not it's rather unproffesional to keep it open really... since you have looked up my case on either of the newest ones..

If you admitted to sharing accounts, that is a permaban offense with no prior warning neccessary. Its all covered in the ToU. If it wasn't true, you shouldn't have told the GM that.

As told before it was a poor choice of words at the time being .. But we all make mistakes some times I guess.
But it doesnt change the other part of me trying to organize a new account and getting perma ban again for no reason? Doesnt it?

Yeah it seems like it hard to read the ToU...

Your current account is most likely only banned by the chat spam filter, as was already pointed out in your other thread.
As far as the account you're referencing in this thread, why would you tell a GM you are doing something that you aren't doing? That's never a good idea. It seems like either way you were trying to hide something.

If you didnt do anything wrong this time you will be unbanned.

But it might take some time, be patient.

If it was a chat spam false positive it will be lifted. It has been pointed out to in several other appeals that some addons can trip the spam filter without you actually entering any chat into the chat window. Evidently some addons silently communicate through certain channels in order to gain information. To the spam detector it all looks the same evidently.
