I am having a similar issue. It keeps kicking me back to the realm selection screen then eventually disconnects. I will keep trying.

looking at the main page it's been hovering around 12k online players exactly. makes me wonder if there currently is a 12k player cap on the server.

Experiencing the same problem quite often.

Either it sends me to the realmlist, gets stuck on "Connecting" / "Connected". I can enter the PVE realm from the server list, but not PVP where I've got all my characters... =(
