Connection issues on a mac.

I wish it were so easy Myrk--I'd be on by now if it were

I'm pretty convinced that I am able to connect through the realm server fine, but when it goes to connect to the game server it can't find it. I ran a traceroute to the gamer server ip and it couldn't find one. I opened the suggested ports in the beginner's guide on my router, I'm not running a firewall (tried it while running a firewall with permissions too just in case).

Did a quick search of that error number. all macs...all on vanilla servers. this is the only solution i saw that had a positive response, why it works? I don't know. Make sure to go to the downloaded location on your hard drive:

1. Open up your World of Warcraft folder where the installation is placed.
2. Right click on World of Warcraft.app and chose Show packet contents
3. Click Contents then Resources (Contents/Resources)
4. Delete the Error Reporter

I believe this won't show error window but you can still feel the lag during your first hit in the game. and of course, error log had been recorded.
