HELP my Hunter is gone

After not logging on for 3 or 4 weeks I found out today my level 41 dwarf hunter is gone from the PVE realm but yet he is still on my friends friend list I have been playing with 4 other real life friends and having a blast in a 5 man group doing quest and dungeons together but now after they find out my char has been taken they probably to will stop playing. My hunter is still on my one friends friend list like i mentioned so I do not understand where it is because if it was deleted my chars name should no longer be on his friends list.

III. Character/Currency/Item restoration

Nostalrius staff will not recover any lost characters, regardless of circumstances. We do not recover any lost items or currency except raid items with the rarity of Epic and above which can be restored in the case of a Server crash/roll-back, providing an in-game ticket is sent to us which fulfills the following conditions:

We will not restore the lost loot if the ticket does not meet all the requirements. Falsified information will lead to immediate account closure.
Exact date of the raid;
Screenshot of the raid ID;
Screenshot of the loot & complete list of raid members;
Name of the player who received the item
