One of the nodes from Western Hemisphere is broken. Below is the ping plot. Until it routes to a different node, or is fixed, we are pretty much SoL.

Note: whited out my ISP's IP addresses for privacy reasons, we only need the universal nodes anyway for research. If your browser crops photo, click in new tab to see... "Address not reachable" it ends on a node in Canada.

Edit: http://www.ip-tracker.org/locator/ip-lo ... 8.27.73.58 is the last IP it hits before not continuing to the login server

This. Very clearly a routing issue. It's been going on for a week or more now. I usually get through after 3-5 attempts, so keep trying.

Still can't LOGIN! Two days of this already this is frustrating!

I used the PW reset link and added a country lock and STILL I cannot login. What is going on here?

I'm a very new player. Like I just joined last night... If you try to log in a few times really quickly. (2 times works for me.) It'll let you get into the game. Creating a character/putting addons on is the hard part. Takes about 1 minute if that until it disconnects you on the character/character creation screen. After you log in you'll have no problems at all.

having a similar problem too... yesterday i was playing an AV battle but i accidentally reseted my PC and now i can't log in... it says "disconnected from server" right after the "authenticating" message box. i've tried to change the realmlist.wtf to set realmlist login2.nostalrius.org and it didn't work

Has to do with IP banning of known gold sellers and certain trouble VPNs.
