Getting an old account back.

So I started playing on this server a while back, leveled up to level 28 or close to it and then left it when I went studying. A month back a friend of mine picked up playing again and told me to come join. The problem is I have absolutely no idea what my password to my account is and according to the website my E-mail isn't taken by any account but if I create an account with the same name that I know that I have it says the accountname is busy.

Is there any way of getting the account back if I can prove somehow that I am the owner of the account in question?

You need to know your email address. But what exactly do you mean by this:
according to the website my E-mail isn't taken

You cannot see (or change) your email address anywhere, and you can use same email for multiple accounts, so you cannot verify if a email is used or not.

GM's does not release such information:

For the players' security, we never give our account information. This includes username, password, or email

Oh, I just tried creating a new account with the same E-mail and I believed there was a one-account/email-rule. I know my E-mail address but it doesn't let me reset on the website.
