question about ToS

i have my bank alt on it's own account, which i use for posting auctions and trading (not mailing) gold to my characters on my other accounts. but i read "Crafting, enchanting, banking and/or for trading purposes that does not include the Auction House." and now i'm a bit confused. does that mean i cannot trade items to my bank alt account to post using the bank alt account? and also is the trading of gold between these accounts ever going to cause issues for me? i mainly do it because i'm extremely cheap and i don't want to pay to mail everything to a bank alt so it's easier and cheaper for me to just have a level 1 on an account i can go from mailbox to auction house with and trade multiple craft items/BoEs, etc., with my other accounts.

I assume you mean that you are multiboxing with your bank alt and main? In that case, it sounds like you're pretty much following the rules. My understanding is that if both characters are in a major city and you are just trading between the two or crafting, that's fine.

However, the AH is different. My understanding is that you can't use the AH while multi-boxing, even if you are just having one guy use the AH while the other crafts or something. The idea behind this, as far as I can tell, is without this rule, people could theoretically make numerous accounts and use various addons and mods to scan/play the AH at the same time, which would be quite advantageous to the player using it, but not good for the market.

It sounds like you're playing within the ToU for multi-boxing, but to be safe, before either of your characters actually use the AH, you should log out of the other account. So you're fine trading everything to and from your bank alt, but then log out of your main account before using your bank alt to use the AH (or vice-versa).

It's also fine to trade gold between your characters. Just don't ever buy gold for real money!

well i'll admit there were times i posted while i had mains logged due to not wanting conjures to disappear, but i don't craft and post no... but i'll make sure i strictly use the AH while on one client at a time from now on. just wasn't sure if they could tell that the gold going back and forth was on the same IP or not, which kind of made me worry that it looked suspicious. thank you ^^;
