High FPS but game is very choppy and slow. Any help?

bump, anyone managed to solve it yet? last time i ask before im going to try and overclock my CPU (if nothing else works).

I have same thing and I tried everything, no fix. The only way I could play it almost decently was with windows 7 at 100 fps fullscreen. if anybody found a fix, please tell, I'm extremely interested.

If you haven't tried yet, one trick is to use Windowed mode in maximized mode, ie simulating full screen, instead of actual full screen. That can help.

No idea what causes this but I had the game running a while back on an old pc still using XP and it wasn't there.

As far as private server experience, TBC doesnt seem to have this problem.
