Bars on the screen

I'm getting funny graphics glitches, namely long bars that resemble terrain. This doesn't happen on retail. Can anyone offer some solutions?

idk, could be your graphics card, could be corrupt game files. don't think it's a server issue. maybe reinstall?

The retail version is just fine so I don't think it's the card; I've only had the computer for about three months. I tried reinstalling the game to no avail.

I had this on retail I believe, 10 years ago.
I believe the fix was to put -opengl in your shortcut target like this: http://puu.sh/gFgnx/0e30425fff.png

I might be wrong though.

Thank you, that has taken care of the problem with the bars, though it seems to have dramatically reduced my framerate. XD
