Banned?

by macgarthur » Mon Mar 23, 2015 7:34 pm

So I was grinding yeti's, for no reason at all I was ported to GM island and then disconnected. Then I am told I'm banned when I try to log in. Can someone please explain why I was banned for playing the game? I was at my computer and received no whispers or anything at all, nor was I breaking any rules.

I did notice that while playing, the mobs I was targetting would sometimes die instantly right before I got my spell off. The first time it happened after a few mobs I said in chat "wtf?" followed by "Is that a GM? Can you pm me please?". There was no message or any sign of a GM so I went along with my business. The second time I paid no attention and this was when I was ported to GM island.

No idea what's happening. From what I can see I think a GM might have been testing to see if I was hacking or a bot by maybe killing my mobs before I could attack them (not sure what that would show?), but I asked if it was a GM the first time. The second time I didn't really pay any attention and just picked different mobs, then I was banned. Not exactly sure what I did wrong, I didn't even receive a whisper or anything. Would really like an explanation for this and my account unlocked since I did nothing wrong.

Greetings macgarthur,

You were banned for botting. There is no point in trying to lie to get your account back, it is banned permanently. We do not ban without making sure first.

Kind regards,
