What's the deal? [Latency]

by goodgame » Sun Mar 22, 2015 10:02 pm

When I started playing on Nostalrius I had a 120 ms at the most which is the minimum I consider playable. Ever since these patches or whatever has been done to the server i'm at 180-200 which is completely unplayable in a PvP environment given the other player is closer to the host.

Did Nostalrius switch hosts today?

I would love to get an answer so I can decide whether or not it's still worth playing.

You think 180-200ms is unplayable in PvP?

I would prefer to not be at a disadvantage to everyone between 50-100. Any sort of delay is a disadvantage.

Australian here, normally get 330-400 ping. Getting spikes every 10-60 seconds of 2k+.

Also, poor you and your 120 minimum playable ms :D

Thats hardly a big enough jump in latency to make someone reconsider playing, i'm in New Zealand with around 300ms and its just fine. I doubt they switched hosts.

I'm in Japan and I play at a constant 250-300 ms, that includes a heavy dose of PvP every day.

I second everyones' empty care cup for your "unacceptable" 120 ms.
