Unable to connect

I get the "unable to connect" when I enter the incorrect PW. If that's correct and other "new" account has no problem from same IP, and the fresh WTF doesn't help, and the account presumably hasn't been compromised or perma banned due to funny business, then what else is left but a clean install?
