In the linked topic, a dev said it was being fixed. There is always a delay before fix are applied on live.

You're right, I guess I worded my OP incorrectly since I'm more peeved about the speed at which other things have gotten fixed with proof. I edited my OP to align with my concerns thanks for pointing that out.
