Track Hidden doesnt work

Basically as title says. I turned on track hidden to help with a quest in wetlands but it never showed me where any hidden mobs where. Even though i would still run into them randomly.

As far as I remember, it just allows you to see them from a slightly further distance, like the lock spell, detect invis, or the rogue sub talent, Heightened Senses.
