Connecting...

After entering account name and password and clicking Login I'm stuck at a perpetual "Connecting" screen... no error, no disconnect... nothing.



My connection is fine.

Update: I was able to connect. That was weird.

Update: I am now unable to connect again. Same problem. So I'm just going to assume the server is on fire or something. Last time I connected my ping was 1200.

Update: I was able to connect at 10:49 PM PST. Ping rate is nuts though... 1575. I'm in Thunder Bluff.

Not sure what's going on.

Update: My connection dropped trying to check my mailbox... and I was rolled back to my prior logged in location.

I'm logged into my main in Orgrimmar. My ping now reads as 0. Seems to be much better, but I'm unsure what all the spiky lag activity is or was.

ive been at a steady 150 ping over here in CA all day, are you sure noone is downloading on your network?
ive had people hack into my wifi and torrent stuff from the next house over keep an eye on MAC addresses in the table.

I'm on a dedicated fiber optic connection. 11ms ping, 17 Mbps down, 20 Mbps up. My Wifi router has a 64-character password. Trust me no one but myself is using my bandwidth. I know it's fine because I was watching youtube in the browser on my second screen. My connection is fast enough to let me do multiple web things at once.

Update: Orgrimmar is now at 478ms ping. WOW is the only app consuming bandwidth.
