So it seems like theres hundreds of these threads since launch. What happens when somebody is banned but never actually hacked or exploited anything? Is there some way to appeal. What protection is there for the player that actually didnt cheat?

There is no protection for the player who didn't cheat. You are guilty until proven guilty. I literally got banned for targetting mobs too quickly...

If you play the game legitimately, you will never get banned.

You can have some kind of software on your comp that isnt related to WoW but will trigger the anti-cheat. This happened in retail WoW and it happens in many other games aswell. Punkbuster is notorious for that shit back in the day. Legit people do get banned. WTB info.
