out of group tag powerleveling is bannable now?

GMs,

Could I get some clarification on this?

At sometime between 1 and 3am this morning while at work, playing from a laptop on a connection I use regularly, I was following a friend who just rolled here in Redridge Mountains and smashing things that he was tagging. At some point, I logged off because I had to attend to something work related and I didn't log back on until around noon after I got off today. I got a tell from my friend telling me that he received a 3 hour suspension for multiboxing. We aren't even playing from the same state (or even adjacent states) in the US, from seperate IPs we both normally use everytime we play here. How could such an easy mistake have been made?

Greetings,

Your friend misinformed you. You were /follow leveling at the time, which is not allowed if done by 1 person. We did check your IPs, and confirmed you were not the same person. I informed your friend that it was not allowed, and that you'd have to act like two people (Not 1 on follow).

Your friend decided to start being complicated, and asked the same question multiple times, wasting GM time. So I warned him to stop trying to waste time finding a loophole. He did not and in turn recieved a 3 hour suspension. I informed him to go read the Terms of Use in his new found free time. He was not banned for multiboxing, he was banned for wasting staff time.
