It doesn't give 30% attack speed.

My pet goes from 2.00 to 1.54 which is 0.46 out of 2.00, which is somewhere under 25% ( 25% would be 0.5 out of 2 ).

So please fix it, it should be roughly 0.6, meaning 1.4 instead of 1.54

OT: dumb question as a non-hunter, how have you checked the pet attack speed change in-game?
Have you used some particular addon maybe or it's just a "wow thing" in general?
(I would to know because I've never played the hunter class and, since I have to level mine here, I'm interested in "technical" mechanics like these)

Changed speed = base speed / (1 + percentage haste)

In your case , 2 / (1 + 0.3) = 1.54 approximately ( 1,5384615384615384615384615384615 if you want to be more specific than the game)
