why do i frequently get disconected in BG's?

Yes. Second this. Most annoying thing of the server to me currently.

I very, very often dc after I die in a bg (like 1/3 to 1/2 of the times I die, I dc). Most of the times the moment I turn up at the gy after a death I dc. That is annoying enough as it is.

But once in a while I dc the second I die and then when I relog I am at my corpse as a ghost and I have to run to the gy to rez. Then when I rez I am bugged and whenever I try to cast a spell on another target I get the message "out of range". I have to alt F4 to get out (sometimes more than once) (relogging/exit does not work then) to get things working again.
