Wait, what is faction spying? I know there are some horde players having alliance alts and vice versa on the same account. Does this mean they gotta delete their alts or what?

Yes, or be banned. Faction spying is lets say I play Horde, I make an Alliance alt and keep an eye on things. Where people are (friend list them so I can know exactly where they are) or let Horde know about raids, BGs, etc.

So yes they need to delete their spy account or be banned.
