NE Hunter lvl 10 quest bug

Hi everyone,

I met a problem today when I was doing the part 2 of the night elf quest to get the pet (the one in which you have to tame a nighsaber stalker). I focus the mob and use the item but it keeps saying "invalid target". I swear a focus the right mob and I do it the right way (as i've seen it works perfectly for other players). I wonder then how to fix this problem cause i'm totally stuck in my progression.
I've already tried everything (abandon the quest, logout then come back, destroying the rope then start again...) but nothing worked.

Have you abandoned your old pet? Dismissing or putting it into the stable is not enough.

I don't remember having abandoned him properly. I've just clicked on "dismiss" then logout/login and the spider wasn't here anymore.

How should I do to abandon it? cause it doesn't appear anywhere in my interface.

Please try the Call Pet ability and see if the spider spawns. If nothing happens and you still cannot tame the Nightsaber you need, please make a GM ticket about this. Use the "Stuck" -> "Still stuck page a GM" options.

I don't even have the Call Pet ability, or at least i can't find it in my spell book

I met a player which has got same words as you. You should close your wow client, and delete WDB WTF directories.
