I like when a person posts an inquiry on the forums asking why they were banned at first stating they have no idea what they did wrong. Then before any authority can comment, in their subsequent posts reveal the act they think might have lead to their ban and construct a very elaborate and entangling story about how it's totally legit and assuring the GMs it's simply a misunderstanding.

Makes for a fresh change of pace from the "my dog used hacks on my account, pls unban, kthnx."

I'm confused did he purchase gold with $ or did he get gold sent to him for no fee on the basis that when he got that amount back later down the road that he would pay back the person who gave him the gold?

Cause if its the latter then thats not a bannable offense. I remember back in retail I borrowed like 5k off my brother for my flying mount and then like a month or so later paid him back. Never bought money off a site or anything from a gold farmer but I just wanted to know if people understand the difference between the two.

Apperently not. I borrowed friend some gold , he payed me back 1.5 month later and for that we got banned. I mean im not just saying , i can easly prove that . For example i can show ( in skype , not a screenshot ) Skype logs between TWO skype accounts with SAME logins as we have in WoW. Still can figure out how is any of this bannable and what other proves the one can bring up to prove the simple fact. I mean srsly, have you ever seen a guy who buys a gold from a random goldseller and the sells him the same amount ?

He quit playing and i asked if he could give me the gold if he really doesn't continue playing.
Now i don't know if i even dare to take the gold if the godly ban hammer is going to strike me for "buying gold"

Yeah, I wouldn't stell... Im in the the process of talking to admins through PM's but this has been a big pain .

Well what you could do is to send a gm a message and ask them to check if he've bought gold or not and ask them if that kind of task is accepted. I'm not 100% but that's probably for the best.

If something fishy occurs, ban hammers will fill the sky
