2 players on same Ip allowed?

by Kyabetsu90 » Tue May 12, 2015 4:20 pm

Hi,
My brother want to start playing on the server but i saw there is number of account restriction by IP, /follow and multi boxing not allowed, even having 2 account conected at the same time (1 for bg and 1 for farm).
So i would like to know if it is possible for us to play at the same time, in the same party/dungeon with the same IP adresse but on 2 different PC?
Also can he play with an account create with the IP xxx.xxx.xx.x on a PC with the IP yyy.yyy.yy.y?
Thx for reading have a nice day / loot.

It's totally fine. If there are 2 people playing 2 accounts. If there is one person playing, and one account (brother) perpetually on follow....no that's not allowed and you'll get the ban hammer right quick.

Although it's not specifically mentioned in the terms of use or FAQs, the account restriction per IP applies only to account creation, not accounts playing. You're only allowed to create up to three accounts per IP, but you can have three or more accounts actively playing, as long as they're all played by different people. For example: if you and your brother want to play at the same time, or if you go to a friend's house for a LAN party with everyone wanting to play all at once, it's perfectly fine for everyone to be logged on at once and all playing.

As Diametra said, the problem only occurs when one person decides to multibox, i.e.: taking two or more accounts and sets one of them to /follow the other for help questing or farming dungeons.
