Unable to connect

Hello there Nostalrius Staff, community
I have just register and downloaded/installed the game
but when i try to login its saying Authenticating ....
Unable to Connect
Obviously i have connection since im posting this Post right now
Is there anything else i have to install or just install the game?
and am i banned or what?

Have you checked this tutorial for configurations and see if everything is in order?

Also check your firewall settings to see if it is blocked. Fastest way to do it, disable firewall and try to connect.

Try the proposed solutions to see if any of them help resolve your problem.

UPDATE: The new password reset feature is now live. If you're still getting errors during login, try resetting the password using the e-mail address you registered your account with. Make sure it's less than 16 characters in length.

I am having the same issue. I disabled my firewall and still cannot connect..
Anyone have any solutions?

Same problem here. I have followed the advice from viewtopic.php?f=32&t=638, and viewtopic.php?f=45&t=5359. Not sure where to go from here...

As a test, I tried to login to another server using the same client version. I was able to connect without issues.
