Hello! I were going to play some wow just now and first i got the message " Unable to connect" Then after i tryed agan a couple of times to see if i could get in, but i couldnt, then i got the secound message that says

That provides a clue as to the problem. The server automatically locks an account for ~30 minutes after several unsuccessful attempts. You'll need to wait... I would recommend copying and pasting your password into the password field to avoid entering the password incorrectly.

Howcome it says "unable to connect " ? I never had any problems before, and now i got it and i tryed to log on like 10 mins ago and it said the same thing, ive redownloaded the game but it didnt help.

Although not a 100% guarantee, the reason it says "Unable to connect" is because the server recognizes the account name you're using but it can't validate the password you're using; the server's trying to log you in with your account but since the password isn't correct, it doesn't connect you to the server, hence "Unable to connect." Anyone can replicate this error simply by trying to login with their account name but using an incorrect password.

Because you're using a legit account name but an incorrect password, the server sees you trying to login unsuccessfully repeatedly which eventually temporarily bans the account as outlined in the last error message in this sticky.

Of course, there's always the possibility it's something else, like firewall, anti-virus, or router configurations.

Really, i just came home, was at my gf house for a day, came home, tryd to log in and it says the same thing?? and i am writing the same password because i have to log in to the forums first.. So i dont really know... x.x I have no problems at ALL in the beginng, and after 2 day of playing i suddenly get this problem.
