Me and my friend were talking about, up it could be possible that you, could make like a faction change option? Would be really awesome

Faction changes became an option in The Wrath of the Lich King
The Faction Change service was being offered by Blizzard since September 2nd, 2009 in the US, and September 17 2009 in the EU

So by offering this service will break the purpose of the Vanilla Realm Server.

This is an nostalgia based server and I don't see this becoming reality at the moment.
