Chat Channels

Not sure if there is another post about this anywhere as I did look but could not find one, so if there is I apologize for making a repeat thread. Otherwise, I hope others who have the same issue will post here as well. =p

I recently installed the game and logged in, and found after setting myself up that I could not enter, use or see any of the chat channels. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game several times, deleted my WTF folder and my addon folder just in case and still nothing. Any ideas from anyone as to what is going on?

This is indeed an issue that's been plaguing several users. Some can see the chat channels but cannot participate in them at all (Thread), and some can see the chat channels but can't get the /1 General or /2 Trade commands to work and can only /Say, /Whisper, or /Yell (Thread). The latter is sometimes solved by /leaving and /joining the channels again or relogging several times.

Really wish we could narrow down the cause of this and either come up with a workaround or fix.
