Quest sharing

Hey. i seem to not be able to share quests with my friend i am playing with currently. we tried and testet many times on quests that should easily be sharable. any solution to this problem?

Sidenote - I tried to search for a topic regarding this question but the search engine seems to not like the word -Quest-, since it keeps ''ignoring'' it when searching.

I've never had a problem with it. What is the issue? If the share quest button is grayed out then it simply isn't shareable. If you look up a quest at a vanilla database you should see the tag "shareable" if it is. If it isn't grayed out then it is shareable and when you click it you will get a message "Sharing quest with xxx" where xxx is your party mate. You will then get an error message if the sharing failed.

If the message says that xxx is ineligible for the quest then he is either too low level or hasn't completed the prerequisite quests.

Yeah i tried many different types of quest and things that is guaranteed to be available. I found out that the problem was range thanks though . way late reply on my part.

Are you in same group and standing next to each other (within 10 yards or closer) as you should be in order to share a quest?

I think the chat window tells you this. I've gotten lots of messages when trying to share quests with friends saying they are too far away to receive it.
