Character stuck - literally can't do anything but move

The moment I accessed the gryphon master I got killed by a horde. I was dead midway in the air and I was able to click 'Release'. When I clicked it, I was sent to the nearest graveyard. At this time, my ghost was already riding a gryphon moving at normal speed. I went back to the spot where I died and I revived there. Then what happened was I was still riding on the gryphon. I can't drown to death. Mobs wouldn't attack me. I can't use any items or spells. Going into buildings doesn't dismount me.

Nothing.

I literally can't do anything to unmount myself from the gryphon. I am hoping that a GM can fix this problem for me asap. At this point, I can only wait for a server maint and hope that would fix the problem.

If you're a GM reading this please fix this for me, I'll inbox you my in game character name.

I have 2 advice for you at this point:
1. Ride your gryphon away fro the shore and be killed by fatigue when you go to far away. After you are dead, ress yourself at the spirit healer with debuff and loosing 10% durability.
If that does not work:
2. Click on red question mark on the Menu bar and choose to send a GM ticket for assist, choose Stuck > Still stuck I need GM ... than the ticket will be sent to a GM online and he will answer to you as soon as possible.

I've tried drowning myself to death (in-game) and I am not taking any damage at all. I tried dying to a fire camp and all the damages are absorbed.

I am skeptical about sending in a ticket via in-game because I thought it's linked to retail. It does work?

It will work, it will create a ticket for GM on this server.
Please use the Stuck option on the help menu and create a ticket there.

Nothing in a private server is linked to retail. All private servers, including this one, are running an emulation of WoW, not retail WoW. Though all the Help menus and screens may look official, none of them are actually linked to any official Blizzard servers or databases. If you open an in-game ticket, it goes straight to the Nostalrius staff's queue.
