ANOTHER ITEM LOSS :(

VIGILANCE CHARM from IMOTHAR on my char MAGGYANOOM.... from dire maul west dungeon

it took us hours to be able to do that dungeon and when we did he dropped vigilance charm which is a 5 per cent drop rate the server crashed and bang.. no item...

its like hours of time wasted...not tryin to be a complainers but what the hell ? so many people banned daily and no gm to support item loss like if it was something commom to loose items ?

If it's not raid loot, admins won't recover it.

But expect more frequent and more devastating losses as population continues to grow.

Afaik logging out does a save to all your stuff. So as soon as you get it you should log out, am I right or did I fall for rumors?

It is true, a logout from your character, will save the character into database.

I read somewhere that you have to stay logged out for at least 30 seconds before the server will "save" your character. Not sure how reliable that info is.
