Well, seems you have done a TL;DR for sure here.
I'm one of those who strongly supports the blizzlike feeling myself, so do not try to label me as a reactionary on duty, you've probably missed the point of my post.
As it regards instead the

donation rewards

(that honestly I have no idea where you read them on my post), mine was a real attempt to suggest a viable (and not p2w) alternative, as opposed to the already nonsense (non-blizzlike) suggestions as the dual spec, or reduce the cost of mounts etc...etc... since that the "character login reorder" does not affects in any aspects the blizzlike feeling.

It is one thing to support the "blizzlike" cause , another is to try to take it to the extreme fanaticism while keeping bugs and the like that the same blizzard then proceeded to fix.

What part of Blizzlike are you not understanding - it was never a feature in vanilla WoW.
They already said there's no "Shop" when the server released.
They refuse to do other things such as item restoration.
The devs here are doing this on their own time, unpaid. I'd much rather they spend time working on things that matter.

I think it is a great idea, and to the people who complain that is isn't "blizzlike", well neither are 5 minute spawn times on elites and having a server with 10k people, get off your high horse.

I'm clearly referring to that alternative "Donation without reward" post there was here on the forum some time ago, simply for the sake of supporting the server.
I'm simply adding the exception to make it possible to re-order the login characters list as an added bonus. Absolutely nothing so blizz-breaking as it would have us believe.

The devs here are doing this on their own time, unpaid. I'd much rather they spend time working on things that matter.

Don't you think that with a new hardware (even better than now), many of the problems of optimization of the server, particularly in the management of the population would facilitate greatly their job?
I assure you that for many donations would be gratefully accepted (from devs point of view), and many people like me would be happy to help (indirectly) in making the server more stable as possible.

So rather than propose something foolish, to me this seems like a solution to be considered.

Blizzlike - the mantra of the retard.

While I don't think that we will get the feature, referring to it as non-blizzlike is an invalid arguement since blizzlike doesn't mean 'exactly the same as blizzard's retail vanilla servers' and if it actually did mean that - we wouldn't be playing on a blizzlike server now anyway, so not accepting a feature for the sole reason that it's not blizzlike would then be invalid as the server is not blizzlike to begin with.

And I honestly don't care too much about it at the moment, even though my main is on third place (which, since I haven't started playing the other characters, I could rectify quite easily) in the character list. I'd rather have them working on things that would actually affect or polish gameplay.

You can already donate - but you don't get anything out of it (other than improving hardware I reckon), I just don't remember the link to the post where they mentioned donations, it's hidden somewhere in the announcment forums I believe.

The -reward- for donating is server upgrades for hardware and software stability for there and population involved.
