The gold seller spam is getting completely out of hand in the cities. Lvl 5-7's spamming the trade channel and lvl 1's yelling. (Can't there be a lvl requirement for /yell?)
But what's worst: they appear to be completely unchallenged.
Right now on the horde side there is a lvl 5 warlock named Optlillons who is spamming gold selling crap from GM Island of all places!
Now, I completely understand that the GM's are volunteers with limited amounts of time. But at the moment it seems to me like no time at all is spent on fighting this issue. Because I see the same characters spamming for several days.
All it would take is for a GM to take a look at the city channels for 2 minutes a couple of times a day and just hit the ban button for the spammers that are always there.
Sure, they will make new spam characters. But at least with the lvl requirement for trade this will take them a little bit of extra time, as opposed to the completely unchallenged free days of spamming per char they have now.
I used to report all the gold sellers I saw. But I stopped that because like I said. All it takes is for a GM to take a 1 or 2 minute look at the city chats once in a while.
Perhaps set up the system that every GM that logs on will always first check the city channels and swing the ban hammer around before moving on to other parts of the job.
