I wanted to make sure that the server had decent anticheat before I spent months playing on it, so I was messing around with values in cheat engine on a fresh account. I was banned, which is good, because that means that the anticheat is doing its job.
I tried to make a new account to actually play the game normally on, but every time I try to connect, it says unable to connect.
I'm able to connect to other vanilla private servers fine, but always get unable to connect. Also, it's worth noting that if I try to connect to the original account, it shows that the account was closed so it's able to reach your authentication servers fine.
Was I IP banned?
