Account Banned, literally no idea

Hey admins and everyone else,

Found out about Nostalrius from a friend, started out a human paladin, leveled to 6, then left town to run a booth at a convention.

Just sat down to play and it says my account is banned (i think)

Literally no idea what's going on

My account name is Mathemagician

Someone help ?

Same happened to me. In my case I didn't login for a month or two, came back and I get an "account banned" message. Quit the game, tried again 2 minutes later and it loged in fine. Weird...

My heart skipped a beat, despite my character only being level 10, this sort of stuff always put me off on private servers until now.

The account has never been banned. Wait 15-30 minutes for your temporary lockout to end and make sure you're entering the correct password or you'll get locked out again.
