Spelling error in mail recipient

by Kikeron » Sun Jun 14, 2015 4:17 pm

I made a typo while sending some items to an alt of mine. Is there a chance I will get these items back or should I wait and see if the recipient is a fair person and will send them back to me?

You fucked up, either the other guy will send you the item back or it's gone.

Isn't only COD mail returned? Other mail just disappears doesn't it?

Aside from official Blizzard or Auction House mail, I thought all types of mail get returned. It's only after the original sender doesn't retrieve it after 30 days does it truly disappear; e.g.: character 1 sends character 2 mail. Character 2 has 30 days to retrieve character 1's mail. If character 2 fails to retrieve mail in 30 days, the mail is returned to character 1's inbox for 30 days. If character 1 fails to retrieve mail in 30 days, it is deleted forever.
